Regarding Dogs

Not too many of you know about my new dogs. Actually, they're not new. They are pure-bred mini schnauzers that came from a rescue situation. What they were living in prior to June of this year was horrific: 146 dogs, mostly mini schnauzers and mini schnauzer mixes, with no shelter but an old U-Haul trailor. Most were malnourished, and about 40 of them had to be put down. Denver Dumb Friends League conducted the raid on the hoarder's house, and Frazil (named Wanda by the rescuers) was the first one they caught. I hadn't even heard their story when I saw that there were some mini schnauzers up for adoption and applied.

When they came to live with us in July, they were semi-house trained, and had no real discipline. We're now almost done with puppy classes, and they're so much happier! Marc is putting in a doggie door today so they can have access to the back yard when we're home. They are too cute for words. Pictures coming soon.
